Fisherman’s Resort, committed to sustainable development, according to ISO 26,000, has been working to support the four local communities that are close to the project: Flores Kinder, La Esperanza, La Bocana and El Jute that total approximately 4,378 inhabitants. The areas of action to generate positive impacts are mainly:

Social: several important needs have been found that will be supported in the medium term, but the Caserio El Jute School Center is already being supported, which has 61 students and only two teachers. Work is also being done to provide training on issues related to hospitality and tourism. It wants to give sponsorship for soccer tournaments, competitions, local surf teams and direct support to schools through the donation of school supplies and sports equipment.

Economic: it is intended to generate decent jobs with benefits well above the minimum established by law, payment of taxes, generation of indirect jobs and development of an associative group to develop tables of sustainability as a tourist destination.

Environmental: the project has been designed to make efficient use of energy, capture rainwater and recycle water in irrigation of gardens, it will be invested in the generation of solar energy and low use of water. Permanent cleaning, recycling and environmental awareness campaigns are also planned.
